Knygos aprašymas

I highly appropriate the Dawuro people for their knowledge of building such gargantuan dry stone walls around the strategic position of their territory. This achievement is inbred, represents the Medieval Omotic civilization and influnced by neither Christian nor Islamic culture. This heritage is unique in type, architecture, engineering knowledge and design which highly represents the Medieval achievements of Dawuro people. one may ask does Omotic people of Ethiopia has any contribution for African Civilization? This needs big research projects but defiantly the Dawuro/Kati Halala walls gives you a inkling. Even though, the cultural heritage of small ethnic group is ignored for a centuries, know we are keen to preserve it.In the way of cultural Heritage Protection, the Dawuro People needs National and International organizations` support. Because, the heritage is highly endangered by natural, human, and development induced factors.
