Knygos aprašymas

The Egyptian government has been and continues to be heavily involved in wheat production, procurement, import and storage, because wheat has been located into the main crop in cereal group. However, there are many pests attack wheat plants from planting up to harvest, the main insect pests are aphids which sometimes cause severe losses in the yield. The population densities of aphids in both regions increased mainly in the months. It was recommended to use chemical insecticides against aphids in wheat fields. Since wheat is addable food for human and its livestock and to avoid any chemical residues in the seeds as well as their deleterious effect in polluting the environment , all wheat producer countries are planning stopped using insecticides in wheat fields. Recently entomologists suggested to use the Integrated Pest Management which means controlling insects pests when their population reaches the economic threshold injury level, using aphids natural enemies to minimize pesticide pollution.
