"Behold your King, before Him lowly bend." The words of this Christmas carol are familiar to most of us, but how well have we understood the scope of their message? The Christmas season is a time for us to remember that glorious event, the incarnation of our King. But it is also a time of anticipation. In remembering the arrival of our King, we see the beginnings of the fulfillment of God's promises, that in Jesus Christ, He is reconciling the whole world to Himself (2 Corinthians 5:19).
