Knygos aprašymas

Light scattering is the key problem in preparing transparent colloidal solution. A detailed study on light scattering of nanoparticles dispersed in organic solvents is carried out based on LaF3:Nd nanoparticle dispersion in TBE/DMSO, and the effect of refractive index mismatching (¿n) on the transmittance of nanoparticles dispersion at different wavelength, average particle size and doping concentration by utilizing Rayleigh scattering model is also investigated. Besides, refractive index matching technology is applied in preparing transparent colloidal solution of rare earth nanomaterials based on the scattering study, and a series of transparent rare earth nano/microparticles dispersion with high optical performance, including LaF3:Nd-DMSO/TBE, LiNd(PO3)4-DMSO/TBE, K5NdLi2F10-PEG400 and LiLa0.4Nd0.6(PO3)4 (microscale)-DMSO/TBE, can be obtained.
