The retention of qualified nurses is vital if health organizations are to survive. One promising method to understand nurse retention is to assess Quality of Work Life and related factors, such assessment improves the understanding of health organizations regarding the impacts of work environment and other related factors on the nurses' work life as well as organizational productivity.The ongoing nursing shortage and high turnover of nurses is a critical challenge to health care industry. It appears that nursing recruitment and retention are serious issues, and turnover rates, which give a clear indication of retention difficulties, are significant all over the world.
