Knygos aprašymas

African people have been set on the edge of dependence, slavery and deprivation because of the history and politics of White and Black or Racism which started from the ancient Greece, through the 19th century colonialism to the 21st century imperialism and neocolonialism. The result is an African continent characterized by underdevelopment. The objective of this work is, therefore, to rediscover and re-assert the substance of the African as an ontological being without a history of oppression, dehumanization and defacement. The methodology is historical, analytical and hermeneutical; it explores the meanings of freedom and then an ideological anatomy of the dynamics of colonialism and neocolonialism. Finally the work x-rays the concepts and practice of globalization and social change with thematic and pragmatic postulates for African renaissance such as postmodernism, globalized democratic existentialism and the logic of African freedom. This is one of Maduabuchi Dukor's four Great works, Magnum Opus, on African Philosophy which include: Theistic Humanism of African Philosophy, Scientific Paradigm in African Philosophy and African Philosophy in the Global Village.
