You don't suppose they were those River Pirates that we've heard about." BOOK THREE As they were leaving, Star gave them a warning, "Don't stay too late. There's a very large pack of Timber Wolves that has moved into the river valley this winter. Last week, I found one of my young heifers eaten right to the bones; right behind the barn. They are probably about ready for another feeding."
