This comprehensive volume is designed to bring clinicians who use hypnosis in their practices, in-depth information on the biology of hypnosis and its use in medicine, dentistry, pain prevention and pain management. Based on works presented at the 6th Annual Frontiers of Hypnosis Assembly held in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, this material has been extensively rewritten for this volume.
