Harriet Vaughan Cheney (1796-1889) was an American-Canadian author most famous for her historical romances and religious children's literature. Other notable works by this author include: "The Sunday-School, or Village Sketches" (1820) and "The Rivals of Acadia: an Old Story of the New World" (1827). Read & Co.
